Production traveler software for the modular factory floor
Built for production leads, station supervisors and whoever keeps materials ahead of the line. Stations that match your plant, a traveler on every module, and a board that updates while you watch.
How does a production team use it?
- 6:45am
Standup on the overview strip
The whole-line strip shows how many modules sit at each station, from feeders to site. Open hold points, NCRs and blockers are counted above the board.
- 8:10am
Release after design lock
A new module is released to the first feeder. It only moves because the project design is locked; otherwise the board explains why and points to the Design tab.
- 10:30am
A check fails at Paint and Trim
The finisher marks a traveler item as failed with a note. An NCR is raised with a disposition, and the module carries the failure until it is resolved.
- 1:15pm
A hold point stops the move
Rough electrical inspection is a hold point. The module cannot move forward until QC signs it; other open work can travel with an acknowledgement.
- 4:30pm
Work logged, materials issued
Crews log hours and notes on each module they touched. Stores issues the framing package against the module, and its cost lands on the record.
A pilot, not an implementation project
Configure
Start from the wood-frame template or your own list: main stations, feeders, off-line bays and the checklist on each.
Shadow run
Run one production cycle on the board next to your current process. We tune stations, checklists and WIP limits with your leads.
Cutover
When the travelers on screen are more trusted than the paper ones, the paper retires.
What does IT need to know?
- Web app: nothing to install on shop-floor terminals; any modern browser works
- Five roles enforced on the server: admin, operator, QC inspector, third-party inspector and read-only viewer
- Users join by invite link; no self-serve signups into your organization
- Realtime updates over WebSocket, one channel per organization
- Runs on Cloudflare's network; no servers for your IT to patch
What production leads and IT ask
Yes. It is a web app, so any terminal with a modern browser runs the same live board as the office, and phones work for walking the floor.
No. The wood-frame template of 15 main stations plus feeders is a starting point; rename, reorder, add or remove stations and edit every checklist.
No. A hold point blocks the forward move until it is passed or marked not applicable by someone allowed to sign it. Ordinary open work can travel with an acknowledgement.
A WebSocket channel per organization. When a module moves or a check is signed, every open board updates.
